The operator algebras seminar will temporarily take place online via Zoom. The link to each meeting can be obtained by contacting the organizer.

In the seminar we discuss construction of exceptional algebraic groups, both split and non-split via Jordan algebras and composition algebras. We further plan to discuss minimal representations on those groups and the theta correspondence for dual pairs in exceptional groups. Occasionally, guest lectures on various topics on representation theory and automorphic forms will take place.

STARS (Superalgebra Theory and Representations Seminar) is a joint BGU-BIU-WIS learning seminar on Lie superalgebras and related topics. The seminar will include introductory talks by participants and occasional guest research lectures.

This is a learning seminar whose aim is to understand the Pila–Wilkie approach via o-minimality to diophantine problems of Andre–Oort type

A venue for invited speakers to lecture about their work over Zoom. This seminar is organized jointly by Ishai Dan-Cohen (Be’er Sheva) and Ari Shnidman (Jerusalem). The intended format includes 10 minutes for assembly, 60 minutes of lecture, followed by 10 to 20 minutes for questions and informal discussion.
