Automorphic forms, Representation theory and Number Theory Ical Atom

In the seminar we will follow new developments in the theory of automorphic representations with touches on the theory of representations of p-adic and real groups and harmonic analysis on spherical varities. This year we will focus on the study of the new work of BZSV which links symplectic geometry to the theory of periods of automorphic forms and a relative version of Langlades conjectures

The first hour will given by Nadya and it will be about 1) Two definition of \gamma, L, e-factors a) Jacquet integrals b) Godement-Jacquet integrals. 2) Weil Deligne group, different types of parameters, 3) roughly describe LLC for GL(2)

Nov 21 Nilpotent orbits in Lie algebras + Section 2 of the paper Yotam Hendel + Eitan Sayag (BGU)

Yotam will give a basic introduction to Nilpotent orbits in Lie algebras. Eitan will use this to introduce the Whittaker models in the generality explained in the paper: generalized Whittaker models.
