p-Adic analytic groups, Arithmetic groups, Superrigidity, Congruence Subgroup Property, Pro-algebraic completion, Euler decomposition.
Course II - Introduction to Motivic Integration (Avni)
p-Adic integration, Igusa's theorem, Motivic nature of p-adic integrals, elimination of quantifiers, Hrushovsky-Kazhdan motivic integration, Denef's theorem, elimination of imaginaries, Hrushovsky-Martin's elimination of imaginaries.
Course III - Local Zeta Functions (Klopsch, Voll)
Orbit Method for p-adic groups, Jaikin's Theorem, Functional equations, Zeta functions for nilpotent groups (Hrushovsky-Martin).
Course IV - Global Zeta Functions (Onn)
Equivalence of CSP and PRG, Rationality of the abscissa of convergence for arithmetic groups, Larsen-Lubotzky bounds, Explicit computations.
