Abstract
These are transparencies I have used in an introductory lecture
on Euler systems. There is quite a lot of similarity with the
notes Euler systems for higher-weight
modular forms but here I have tried to be more
general. There is a discussion of the Kolyvagin cup product, a
new description of the localization of it and a discussion of
the relation between the norm and congruence relation following
Kato.
